Mine infill

Belmix mixers have been involved in a number of mine infill projects in the UK. The most recent, the Northwich Mines Stabilisation Project in the UK, involved over 1,000,000 tonnes of PFA grout. At Northwich, a Belmix CM150 was used to mix a saline grout consisting, conditioned PFA, brine and salt for infilling the salt mines under the town.

Earlier contracts include: Walsall, Dudley, Wednesbury, Bromsgrove. A number of contracts totalling 3 million tonnes of PFA grout,  and 2 contracts for a colliery shale 'rock paste' mix.
